So-called "renders" are actually "cut-outs," where the original artwork has its background removed (cut out) and uploaded without the consent of the artist.
Don't do it, don't distribute it. Copyright infringement hurts the whole community.

Nowhere in that article does it say "to cut up someone's art for a GFX project". I know deviantART has users from all over the world, and loan words can be developed instantly, but actually go and look up what the original word means. Especially in the artistic sense since that ultimately applies here.
I'm pretty sure the Render category wasn't made for cut-outs of anime babes or international pop stars....
